After Los Angeles, I am setting my sites higher…by about 8000 feet!
Master Chef is behind me and the Beaver Creek World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition is ahead! Upon returning from CA this afternoon, I fired up the oven and baked my Epic Chocolate Chip Cookies to overnight up the mountain tomorrow. I don’t have to appear and plate my dish in three minutes this time! The five finalists will be serving the public on opening ski day, Nov. 26, with 1000 miniature cookies and the cookie with the most votes wins! Thank you to all of you who have offered to help “test” my recipe! Cakey on the outside, soft and chocolately on the inside with a hint of coconut. Oh yeah, recipe will be forthcoming!
