Back by Popular Demand – Caprese Kabob Christmas Tree!
If you didn’t catch this last year, here it is again. It has been my most “repined” Pin on Pinterest. Here’s what you need to assemble an edible Christmas tree (like I did yesterday at Ace Hardware):
Small glass plate, glue and glue gun, styrofoam cone 12″ tall, fresh spinach or iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese cut into small pieces, basil leaves. Glue cone onto plate. Assemble kabobs in this order: tomato, cheese, basil. Take a spinach leaf and hold it up to cone. Push tomato end of kabob into spinach, securing it to cone. Continue until the “tree” is full. Great for holiday party. Be sure to have extra kabobs to continue replenishing the tree as it becomes bare. Your guests will be so impressed!
