Book Judging on the Boat

Saturday night we hosted an annual book judging contest on our boat and naturally, the judges needed to be fed! After they performed their meticulous judging duties in a fair and impartial way, we fed them on the beautiful Chatfield Reservoir waters while enjoying a magnificent sunset. Here is the eclectic, small plate menu that was fitting for a warm, summer evening:

Caprese Salad with Aged Balsamic Vinegar, Grilled Avocado with Shrimp, Baked Garlic and Dill Cheese Curds in Zucchini, Tomato Gazpacho and Baguettes, Blackened Brie with Crackers and Strawberry and Brownie Kabobs.

The entire evening was a hit and we were told this was the best judging event ever! Keep it eclectic with the menu and location and the possibilities are endless.
