Happy Birthday, Scott!
“Mom, when are you going to finish the cookbook?” This was in April of 2011. I replied, “I’m not sure, I really need a deadline.” Scott responded, MY BIRTHDAY!” Oh boy….I knew he was thinking two months from then but didn’t actually say that, so I agreed. “Ok, June 22 of 2012!” And I met my deadline of finishing it by then and sending it to the printer shortly thereafter. Thank you, Scott, for keeping me on track! Of all the things I offer to bake for my kids’ birthdays, they always want the same thing – DQ ice cream cake! They are delish and perfect for a summer birthday.
