“Caramel” Apple Dip2015-04-19

- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup chopped, salted almonds
- Variety of fruits as dippers (sliced apples need to be soaked in lemon juice to keep from browning. Plus the flavor is awesome!)
- Small Cantaloupe half to use as "bowl"
Mix together cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla and nuts until well blended. Place into scooped-out cantaloupe half with decorative edging using a "V" shaped knife.
Display on a tray with a variety of fruits surrounding the dip.
