“Caramel” Apple Dip

  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 cup chopped, salted almonds
  • Variety of fruits as dippers (sliced apples need to be soaked in lemon juice to keep from browning. Plus the flavor is awesome!)
  • Small Cantaloupe half to use as "bowl"


Step 1

Mix together cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla and nuts until well blended. Place into scooped-out cantaloupe half with decorative edging using a "V" shaped knife.

Step 2

Display on a tray with a variety of fruits surrounding the dip.
