Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 16 ounces strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried


Step 1

Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler. (Melting them in the microwave makes it difficult to get them consistently smooth.) Turn off burner once melted but leave on hot burner.

Step 2

Prepare a large, flat container by lining it with waxed paper. Set aside.

Step 3

Firmly hold the stem of a strawberry and dip into chocolate, swirling it around until bottom half is coated. Place on waxed paper. Repeat until all strawberries are gone.

Step 4

Place in refrigerator, UNCOVERED, for at least 45 minutes. Serve cold.
