Ingredients

  • 1-20 ounce can sliced pineapple in its own juice
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves

Method

Step 1

Drain pineapple while reserving 1/4 cup juice to use in recipe.

Step 2

Mix together: Sriracha, Chinese 5 spice, honey, pineapple juice and cloves, blending well.

Step 3

Add pineapple to spice mixture and marinate until ready to grill.

Step 4

On a medium heat grill, cook pineapple about 5 minutes per side, lightly brushing extra sauce over.

Step 5

This is a great side dish with salmon!
