Method

Step 1

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. (No sticking and easy clean up!)

Step 2

Spray dough generously with EVOO. Cut into finger-length pieces about an inch wide. Lift a piece and place between the palms of your hands and begin to rub your palms together. The dough will lengthen, which is the goal. Do the same from the other end of the dough. Once it is the width of a thick pencil, roll in chosen flavoring, pressing to make sure it sticks. Caution: when using the salty ones, do not use too much or they will be way too salty. Repeat with remaining dough.

Step 3

Symmetry is NOT the name of the game here. The more abstract and unalike from the others, the better and more interesting!

Step 4

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven 8-10 minutes. They burn easily so keep an eye on them! Serve in a pretty glass standing vertically.
