Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, cleaned, ends cut off and cut in half if large
  • 1/2 Onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 Apples, sliced but not peeled
  • EVOO
  • Kosher salt, Freshly ground pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar, aged

Method

Step 1

Combine all of the above ingredients using enough EVOO to coat, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Roast on jelly roll pan in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.

Step 3

Remove from oven and toss with balsamic vinegar, serve hot. Loose leaves will roast more than the little sprouts, which is find and makes for some crunchy, tasty bites.
