Small Plates Dinner Party is a Hit!
When a small plates dinner party needs to happen on a “school night,” planning and preparing ahead are a must. Most of the menu was made this past weekend. Last-minute cooking and grilling were all that needed to happen. Creating the menu was really fun and no accident that it began and ended with my idol Ina Garten/Barefoot Contessa‘s recipes, consistently crowd-pleasers. All other recipes are in Eclectic Entertaining-Small Plates & Dainty Desserts, except for the Mushrooms and Boursin, found on my website. Serving a variety of colors, textures and flavors is always a goal of mine when organizing a menu. This ensures there will be something for every palate in addition to being visually appealing. As always, keep it eclectic!
